I am so thrilled to introduce you to my site and blog dedicated to the book that I am writing called Sundays Well Spent! I am so excited about this project and have been wanting to write a cookbook or guide for quite some time. But it turns out that writing a book is a wee bit harder than writing a blog post and slapping together some recipes and uploading it on the interwebs! Thus, I am grateful to be a part of the Author Accelerator program. Jennie Nash, is an author and creator of this program and has helped nudge me to do this project. Thank you Jennie! This program is for people like you and me, who have a book in us, but are not sure how to get organized and actually do the deed. I have been working through the program, step-by-step and can’t wait to show you the finished project. Very soon!
I also want to give a big shout-out to my dear friend and creative genius, Kelli Preston of Gingermint Creative. Kelli worked with me step-by-step to create this amazing website and I could not be happier with the results. I would throw out some gibberish of what I wanted and somehow she deciphered exactly what I was thinking and made it even better. Thank you Kelli! You are amazing and I can’t wait to collaborate on the next project.
Sundays Well Spent is all about teaching you to calm the chaos around foods, so you can eat well, enjoy mealtimes again and make space in your life to do what you LOVE!
My mantra is to keep things SIMPLE. We all tend to over think this nutrition stuff.
We make over 200 decisions a day about what to eat, where to eat, when to eat and how to eat. Phew! I am tired just thinking about it myself. Most of us have good intentions to eat right, and exercise, and drink 8 glasses of water each day, but inevitably we fall off the wagon. This fills us with the notion that we FAILED and that in turn makes eating healthy seem HARD. Well guess what…it doesn’t have to be!
I am inviting you to come on this adventure with me and discover just how easy eating healthy can BE! I will be sharing tips and tools with you on how to eat, in a healthy and simple way, that works for YOU and your lifestyle!
It’s all about celebrating beautiful and delicious whole foods: fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, healthy fats, and clean proteins on a seasonal basis. By nourishing your body with nutrient dense foods you will reduce cravings, ease digestion woes, sleep better and gain an abundance of energy!
We all want that right? I know I do. My life changed when I started making baby steps in the right direction. I started with drinking more water, then focusing on eating REAL FOOD and eating less processed food, and ultimately made a shift in the way I think about food. NO GOOD or BAD FOOD. I just started thinking about how food made me feel, and how it fueled my body and nourished my soul. All of these little shifts added up to much more profound change and I can honestly say I wake up every morning excited about my not only the food I get to eat, but grateful to finally have a healthy and happy relationship with FOOD.
So come along for the ride, as I finish this book and share my experience with you too!
Hop on over to Sundays Well Spent and get acquainted. I have lots of new stuff to share with you and more exciting news coming up next week
In Health and Happiness,
Abby
